KRAKOW, Poland — Pawel Nabialek planned to devote his getaway on the French Riviera and in Barcelona to watch a soccer match, but he scrapped his seashore vacation to help Ukrainian refugees fleeing to Poland.
Nabialek, a lieutenant with the Fort Value police division, is paying his 3-7 days trip in Poland, where by he was born, to aid the gals and youngsters fleeing Ukraine to get to protected locations.

Nabialek named ahead and spoke to the farmer in Polish, but his instincts as a police officer kicked in, as he did not like the “lousy vibes” and the route of the conversation.
