A motorcyclist who posted movies of himself on social media travelling sooner than 260 km/h has been charged, York Regional Police say.
A police spokesperson informed International Information officers had been informed on June 28 about movies posted on Instagram and TikTok displaying a motorcyclist driving dangerously.
The spokesperson mentioned a citizen reported it on-line.
One of many movies allegedly confirmed the bike travelling 261 km/h.
Police mentioned they investigated and on Thursday, charged 27-year-old Newmarket resident Danial Loganathan with harmful operation and driving a motorcar on a freeway whereas performing stunts.
His licence was suspended for 30 days and bike impounded for 2 weeks.
